One day in Šibenik County should start in Šibenik, of course! This area is well known for its beautiful beaches and many places that will definitely leave you speechless. But first of all – take a walking tour among the streets of Šibenik.
The Cathedral of St. Jakov in Šibenik is one of the most significant and most beautiful architectural achievements in Croatia. Since 2000 it is the part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The cathedral demonstrates three different styles: Gothic, Gothic-Renaissance and Renaissance. The cathedral is also known for sculptures of 71 heads on the outer part of the sanctuary, which are probably individual portraits of contemporaries Juraj Dalmatinac.

Primosten is often called the “city of beaches”, because of the abundance of its beaches and bathing areas.
Raduča Mala Beach is the largest beach in Primošten. It is located right in the city promenade. It is surrounded by various cafes, restaurants, and taverns, where everyone can look for a break from a day, spent sunbathing and swimming. It’s a very good idea to rent deck chairs and umbrellas, as well as pedal boats and motorboats.
The viewpoint of Our Lady of Loreto is a place to see. Lady of Loreto is the patroness of Primosten. In May 2017, a 17-meter-high statue of Our Lady located on top of Mount Gaj was unveiled.
This place carries with it the message that Our Lady from this 170-meter high hill actually protects Primosten. In addition to this statue, there is a viewpoint that offers a beautiful panoramic view of Primosten. As well as Sibenik, the Sibenik archipelago, Rogoznica, Kornati, and the open sea. You can get there by car, but also on foot.
Bau Bau Bar is a place by the road, where you can stop to have a swim and a cold cocktail, and stay all day long. It is a very small spot but full of great energy and ambiance – good music, nice beach, and isolation from the crowds. In fact, we recommend stopping!
Here and there, during the fishing festival for tourists, you can enjoy a good atmosphere. At every step, various delicacies stun the nostrils from the grill, and guests are having fun in a real Dalmatian atmosphere with song and wine.
For the most enduring, for whom this is not enough, the possibility of a crazy time you can find in the largest disco in Dalmatia, Aurora, right at the entrance to Primosten. To demonstrate, various world-famous musicians perform here in the summer and it is a real lure for young people from the wider area.
The Krka National Park includes the belt of almost the entire course of the Krka River and the lower course of the Čikola River.
All sites you can reach by car (except the island of Visovac) and some only by excursion boats. With this in mind, it takes several days to tour and experience the entire Park, for which there is a multi-day ticket.
